A robot at Google recently sent me a mail, subject: Fix mobile usability issues found on http://bigwinky.com/.
Google systems have tested 25 pages from your site and found that 100% of them have critical mobile usability errors. The errors on these 25 pages severely affect how mobile users are able to experience your website. These pages will not be seen as mobile-friendly by Google Search, and will therefore be displayed and ranked appropriately for smartphone users
I have to agree with the assessment. As of right not, this site does not work so great on mobile devices. The plan is to switch to a JBST WordPress template and replace the Anarchy media plugin with something that doesn’t depend on Flash.
The aesthetics here might not be as nice as I’d like as I’m making these changes. Your patience is appreciated.
I’m not a very religious person so, it might be surprising that this Christ on the Sea of Galilee by Eugene Delacroix is one of my favorite paintings.
The image here is a scan from a local newspaper. If I remember, there was a story in the paper announcing the opening of an exhibition of this work in one of the local museums.
I believe this is the 1853 work. (Original Dimensions: Height: 60 cm, Width: 73 cm (23 1/2 x 28 3/4 inches). Delacroix painted this subject in 1841 and 1854 as well.
As an exercise towards developing some facility with Cubase, I remixed a very old MIDI composition of mine from over 20 years ago. The result is at SoundCloud.
